Ready, Set, Grow
Wednesday, May 1, from 8:45 – 10:00 the Vandagriff Caféteria was filled with eager children and parents exploring various literacy stations. These children are 2013-14 Vandagriff kindergarteners. The purpose of this special event is to help the incoming kindergarteners (and parents) feel prepared and at ease as they begin their first day of school in the fall. Each family was given a packet of helpful information and fun activities to work on over the summer. The morning ended with a tour of the Vandagriff campus.
